An important appointment in the run up to the Women's World Cup in England in 2025, Lois will oversee the continued growth in girls' rugby in Warwickshire. Here's what she has to say:-
"Rugby has been a central part of my life since I was 9 years old. I began playing with boys’ teams and transitioned to girls’ and women’s rugby at 16. Over the years, I’ve had the incredible honour of representing England in various roles, including England U18, England Academy, and England 7s. I also captained the England A team and was part of the full England squad, where I proudly became a Six Nations champion.
My coaching journey has been equally rewarding. I’ve held multiple coaching positions, including Head Coach of Warwickshire Women. Although injury ultimately led me to step back from playing, it also allowed me to focus on my family and to give back to the sport that has shaped my life.
Now, I feel I’ve come full circle and am deeply committed to supporting the growth of girls’ rugby. I am especially passionate about guiding the Girls England Rugby Developing Player Pathway and helping young players transition smoothly to adult rugby.
If you’d like to discuss any topics for our girls’ rugby forums or have questions about girls’ rugby at a non-representative level within Warwickshire, please don’t hesitate to reach out."
